EBP is pleased to offer an after-school and outreach programming that emphasizes theatre as a means of promoting creativity, collaboration, innovation, leadership, and self-confidence.

Our programming provides students with a basic theatre vocabulary; a deeper understanding of theatre as an ancient and contemporary art form; and an opportunity to hone communication and problem-solving skills through collaboration with peers and practitioners. Areas of focus may include dramaturgy; generative writing and playwriting; lighting, set, and sound design; set construction and dressing; costume design and construction; voice; movement; stage combat; stage management; directing; backstage crew; and front of house management.

EBP’s founder, Lauren Earline Leonard, is a Teaching Artist and Faculty member at Philly PACK where her courses include “Putting it on the Page: Writing Your Story,” and “Building Character" creative writing class for teens.
